I have hit a recurring road block, however this time I cannot seem to overcome it. Often times my posts are long winded, however, this will err on the side of short and concise.

I can approach, hook and begin conversation with groups. For some reason, I seem to suffer from a severe case of male pattern blindness in these situations. Aside from forgetting to isolate I tend to move onto another group after I've had my share of validation from the target/obstacle. In the beginning, this is phenomenal for building social value, however as the night trickles by and the sands of time flow I am left with a bunch of new friends but no prize.

How do you overcome this sticking point?
