Constant problem. Talking to girls when I only have a minute at a time. Let's assume attraction, say, at work. Repeatedly reopening eachother, but every time feels like the first conversation. There is no carryover from one chat to the next. In a social context I would stand and talk at them until it losened up and started to flow.

Ideas?

Tell stories until they feel better talking?

Stuck.

I dont think that's your real issue. If it's at work you shouldn't even be trying for rapport. Get them to drinks or coffee outside of work then run game.

And so, your suggestion is to get a girl to go on the equivalent of a day 2 without the trust or comfort that is the definition of rapport? Forgive me, but that doesn't strike me as a practical solution.

This is what I do while I'm working:

My 2-5 Min Pickup Routine:

1. Open with a direct or observational opener
2. Go directly into qualification and then a short story.
3. Tell her that you think she is "cute and interesting," but that you have to get back to your job.
4. Tell her that we should continue this conversation over coffee, and number close.

I personally have used this method with success at my job. If I had more time, I would go with a more rapport-based routine. Unfortunately, I don't have the time.
