A major part of the solution in this situation is to work on that good ol verbal game.

It seems to me that you're weak in your inner game. Do you think you'd come off as a boring person? Do you think that you're a bit too serious and hard to laugh or crack a joke? Well if you do then you're probably a boring person. Obviously.

I don't really know much about countering this inner game sticking point, but I know you could start by meditating and probably listening to what ever music that you really love. Or even watch some sitcoms and shit.
