I was in the club yesterday, having a good time. I saw a girl I wanted to approach, made the move, got her on the dance floor with something along the lines of "Why are you here in a club acting so shy, only boring girls stand around at a party, you're pretty cute, I'm really good looking so you should come with me." She smiled and followed me to the dance floor (I thought this may even finish in a hook up). Initially the dancing was great, she was giving all the signs of interest, I even qualified her a little bit. I thought things were going well, then after dancing for a while she stopped looking me in the eye as she had been doing and eventually said that she was going to go get another drink (I took this to mean that she was done with me). Why did she grow so cold? Should I have just made a move sooner, I usually like to wait a few songs before I go in for the kiss, or wait for the girl to kiss me or position herself to kiss me. (This was probably to my benefit however as another girl I hooked up with earlier was in the vicinity which I did not find out until ever). Any advice would be appreciated.
