Getting a phone no. is easy. I usually start with:

try a location change, even if its just to a table or booth or something. this way, even if its loud, the only reason any of you are there is to talk. when your at the bar, or on the dance floor or something, the objective is less defined, it could be to dance, talk, drink, w/e. by moving to a location set for communication, you establish that that is what you want to do, communicate.
