So a friend of mine is down right hilarious. I had a party at my house last night with like 20 ppl... But my roommate and my friend evan are two crazy guys. So after part way through the night I started working on this girl alot more but everytime I tried to keep her attention evan would just stop by to chill and shes finds him to be very funny as well.. when he would leave all she would say is how she loves him.. We had good kino, neg's worked she would go get my drinks and just when i leave to talk to someone else and come back those two are making out on my couch... what should i say when she only talks bout him at certain points and how do I disable the comical guy..

first, i hate him, second, imho hes not a cockblock but a guy that outgamed you. sucks but happens.
if somebody won your target over I think its the best to just move on. at the point where hes making out with her i really dont see anything to do (unless you want to go extreme) but to look for a hottier hotty.
So if you get competition you need to win it while its happening. First compare what you did to what he did and try to find out where he did better. i think he might have displayed higher status than you (be especially aware of the relative status between you) and/or he might have been more efficient moving forward with her. (I kind of have the picture in my mind of you hitting on the girl allnight while he buzzes in a few times in between to create attraction, so check if you moved through the phases with momentum).

what to do when somebody enters your set:
remember you are in control of your set. you either reject him (like low value strangers) or you welcome him to your set(friends etc). you CANT let him take control of your set and I guess thats what happened and game over in itself. that he is funny or whatever is insignificant compared to the significance of status. dont try to outfunny him. but when he roles in and takes the attention undefended he just demonstrated to be the alpha of the group. you did not defend (i think) so he could move in and build attraction.

how to defend:

1) touch him (shoulder or something) 2) consider making a little bit of a physical barrier between him and the girl, at least for a moment before you welcome him 3) dont let him run his stuff or if take it away from him after 4) consider amogging, i like friendly looking amogging

like "HEY GUYS I-" "*turn around step and touch* (*trashtalkstart*)OMG HOSHI WE... NEED... DRINKS... GO... QUICK!" "...no?" "tztztz, your useless, youll never get a job in my company if you keep this up, anyways HB (here you turn around and now they are both your set) have you seen this magic trick hoshi can do hes amazing with cards blabla..."

i think you definitely have to talk to HIM and not HER at first because then she is forced to give him attention because she is forced to react to someone who directly goes up to her. if he feels here is nothing to take for him he will leave soon enough and most likely wont come back.

Other option:

Leave and do something else interesting at least for a while(I think thats good especially if you lost the lead). if you come back while hes still there youll come back with momentum and in order to take control of the set. be prepared to meet defense. the rolloff imho is in order to save face (or to not DLV by staying somewhere where you are not money) and to give him the ability of boring her/having less value than you. thats true if you played her well and if his game isnt tight enough at this spot. ideally she has the feeling of missing out on you because of him.
