| Ok, so I just joined here the other day, but have been reading some pua literature for a while now. I'm literally just back into my room from an interesting scenario. Here's how it happened:
about four weeks ago I was at a house party, and took [Girl A] home. Fairly natural game, nothing too obvious, I did ask her a few questions so that I could tell her about herself. (Three questions that are all similar, leading up to 'name a body of water you like and three things about it' - the three words supposedly describe your sex life.)
Now, she was friends with [Girl B], who was the obstacle that night. [Girl B] is also friends with my SPAM gf, which is how we knew them. So [Girl B] comes over to visit us all tonight, and brings along [Girl C].
So, not expecting much since they're just stopping by and I'm wearing tracksuit bottoms and haven't showered - I get chatting to B and C. It turns out that A, B and C have all been chatting about what I did that night, and determined that I was using 'techniques' from "this book we've heard about, called 'The Game'!".
I told them that I think it's all canned one-liners, but that I agreed with most of the things the book said anyway. I then tried to turn it round - I gave an example about me asking [Girl C] out into the hallway to kiss, in a jokey way. She laughed and then I followed up with 'but thanks to this 'Game' im playing, you're now thinking about us kissing, right now'. And she paused then looked genuinely impressed and smiled, like I'd pulled a magic trick.
they both gave me a big hug before they went and said we should catch up soon, but also said they would be more defensive in future when going out! The worst of it was, I had to then explain to the guys that were round what this book was and why I'd read it!
Anyone been in a situation before where you're speaking to girls who have clearly read The Game or some other form of pua literature? How have you dealt with that and is there a 'right way to play it' in your opinion?
