I just want to hear your strategies for converting #/k-closes into Day2 dates. I'm having great success out in the field and having a great night out (esp. the last two nights) but I'm having a very low conversion of girls to Day2 dates. I've been a number closing fiend andI know the numbers I get are real. The way I usually get the girl's number is I have her call my phone from her phone and catch the caller ID. But anyway, I feel like I'm getting filtered all the time - I'll call and get voice mail and then they never call back.

My friend Jon suggested email would be better - get a phone number and an email. But if a girl is going to flake on me over the telephone, why should I think that an email is any better? Oh and I don't have text messages on my phone so don't even go there.

yeah, if a girl is gonna flake, she's gonna flake it doesn't matter email or number. However, getting a full name might help so you can get a facebook, because most girls will respond to just about anyone (including strangers) on facebook. This will give you the chance to build more rapport before starting to text or call her for a D2.

On the other hand, you probably just haven't built enough rapport and comfort in the first place when you got her number or else she would respond. Work on that, venue changing, building multiple experiences, kino, rapport, then number close. If you talk to her for 5 min and get the number, she's likely to flake.

Then again, you must realize you will get some flakes NO MATTER WHAT, remember we are dealing with humans and there is 1001 reasons why she might not pick up. Also, maybe she just missed your call. I've been in a situation before when I THOUGHT a girl was flaking on me, but I called like once a week and like 3 weeks later she picks up and wants me to MEET HER...damn, sometimes it's all in your head.
