I ask her to tell me something interesting about her self? she replies with " well what do you want to no? If I answer am I jumping through her hoop? what is she doing here? Is she testing my frame? do I go straight into well.....bla bla bla , Is she trying to impress me by not saying anything I don't like? a little help here please....

However after alot of reading i am able to tell you that its not what you say, its how you say it.
"Well what do you want to know?"
This is usually to do with lack of frame control and direction. The girl doesn't know if you wanna rude/nice/hot/snotty girl. Imagine you liked a girl and you wanted to be something for her, but you didn't know what she liked.
the same thing.
Now never ask too many questions and always control where the conversation is going.
