Practically it seems my main issue is that when i text a girl without a question in it (which usually makes the text excessively long) i don't get a reply and feel like im giving myself extreme DLV's or even if you do what you guys say and wait a couple days, I even have less of a connection after that.

So far with this current girl, i met her last friday on the dance floor took her from there and had a bit of a chat off there kiss closed, easy as...now i msged her the following day back and forth a couple times, i sent the last one then initiated it again the followin day and ended up cutting it short saying i'll give her a call later. Called her that night spoke for about 8 mins then had to have dinner and said i might talk to you monday or osmething then (i hinted at plans for tonight and she was quite keen, but a bit too ill this week for anything) so i started texting her again tuesday and it ended with me saying something like yer not THAT bored, got some stuff to do, movies games gym etc. No reply and my mate called me to do something, so i sent her a msg about that and get a reply about it or w.e and say i'll give her a buzz later, talk for 10 mins then have to have dinner again and stuff...
then today, 3 days later msg her fair few times this morning and she replies and i end with a statement...no reply =[ any ideas?

Ask her to do something.

She is probably bored just texting you. She only associates you with boring text conversations and brief phone calls.

Take her out somewhere fun and original. I recently read a post on rock climbing and I think thats a great idea. If thats not your thing take her to an original restaurant (some chinese or mexican place you know is good and she probably hasn't been to) or simply invite her for a 'casual' hang out at your place.

yea prety much planning to take her out somewhere early in the coming week, but from what i hear around, you're right...it seems that texting and stuff does seem to bring out the boring side of us, as for the calls it seems that she picks them up straight away and sounds like she enjoys the conversation, though i loose stuff to talk about after about 10 mins and i generally start rambling to break awkward silences and stuff...need to make a list of stuff to bring up in a conversation as backup....want to pitch some ideas for me ;D

I'm not a big fan of robot like advice.
