Forum rules

A Sticking Point or SP is an issue you CONSISTENTLY run into.

It is NOT a point where you get stuck with ONE SPECIFIC GIRL.

A Sticking Point is:
Quote:
I keep getting LMR whenever I bring girls back to my place. This has happened at least 10 times already! What am I doing wrong?
A Sticking Point is NOT:
Quote:
I got LMR with this one girl! What do I do?
IT IS AGAINST THIS BOARD'S RULES TO POST THREADS ABOUT JUST ONE GIRL
If you have not already gone out and practiced enough to have a real Sticking Point from meeting an ABUNDANCE of women, YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO POST HERE.

I, umm, have none...

Having recently been to a few clubs and I have realized there is no way around this, you have to dance. Either to help build value from afar or when you talk to a girl for a bit, she will want to dance. But I am terribly nervous. I think my issue is that I am too paranoid and self-conscious. I always think that everyone is watching and judging. It is a very arrogant mindset and false to have, I know. When I go out with friends and they all dance, when I dance with them I get easily embarrassed. In my group I’m not known as a dancer. So when I try to dance I just assume everyone is judging me. Which they’re not, but like I said paranoid and self-conscious.

I am actually not too bad. I can follow a beat easily and with the right amount of liquid courage I'm pretty good or at least not terrible. The only problem is alcohol does wonders for my dance for game, but makes me useless and conversations.

So any advice would be really appreciated?

Thanks in advance,

Well. Dance floor game is not about talking for sure. You have to be able to dance a little bit. Bottom line is that it sounds like you truly care about what people think about you and you're not confident when sober because of that and the fact that you're may not be to sure of your dancing skills.

I feel the same way.

If you feel that you might be looking a little bit goofy, embrace it. Overcompensate just a bit or make some outlandish moves to show that you can have fun and be funny. This will make you more confident when you get a positive response and you won't look like every other guy just creepily grinding his shit from behind.

Of course, don't go too crazy or you'll just look drunk.

dance game seems to really be the only thing im actually alright at in picking up girls...
realistically, almost every guy on the dance floor sucks at dancing and has their own pretty bad style of it. Just start by dancing next to some set when the notice open up, get some friends or w/e who are dancing with you in there, and your all in a big circle or w/e. It can soemtimes take a bit, but they do get confortable with you and then eye off some random the group usually ends up closing you two out dance for a bit then go for some kino, do some spins or something and start getting close and your in...
While its pretty bad in general, its worked for me like the last 10 times i've tried, sometimes might take a couple sets, for me it was that they were older, some guy starts grinding against them and makes them unconfortable of whole situation and run off or they already have someone=o

main thing to rememer though is, EVERY GUY PRACICALLY SUCKS AT DANCING just make sure you don't look like an absolute tool or an absolute dork and you'll be good ;)
