Location: Everywhere and nowhere | | Heres the situation:
Tomorrow night, i'm going to UFC 92 at a friends house. he's invited a girl over who i've built a little bit of report with using C&F stuff over texts. The host claims she's excited to meet me for the first time in person. As normal for a UFC event there will quite a number of AFC AMOGs who know everything about UFC and have very large egos to back it up. These guys often hit on women and are naturally C&F kinda guys. There will definitely be AMOGing like no tomorrow has there will be 2 single girls, 1 taken, and probably 8 or 9 guys.
I've never had to deal with an AMOG before, and i'm kind of stepping into a lion's den. I'm the only guy that has any kind of report with this girl, but i still want come in a little prepared.
I would appreciate any advice.

Location: Everywhere and nowhere | | Yeah it does. You've covered my biggest concern, and brought a very excellent point. These guys are very defensive when they think might possibly perceive them as gay.
After shifting the negative focus away from me. My game plan is to simply more interesting to talk to. She doesn't like UFC, and i;m not a hardcore fan, so i think i can try to be that guy she likes more because i'm not rambling on about UFC.

Posts: 1059 | | Just don't take their shit! if they are bantering, put your arm around the girl be cool to him and move her away! if he keeps busting on you just stand there and tell him "um.... okay.." look to the girl tell her "I think he likes you" and move her... the key is to get the girl and you in your world, then no matter what he says hes just like some random voice! With amogs they try to pull you into their world and their frame, you have to ignore that and keep strong in the place you and your set have created! Don't give him any attention, but don't out amog him with jokes or banter that just seems try hard.

Location: Everywhere and nowhere | | Thanks Hobbit, that totally worked. We started out siding against the entire group fighter wise. I would use things like, that guy has a cooler goatee, or blue is my favorite color. it was me against all the other guys for most fights so i "put her in my corner" got her sitting on the couch beside me cuz we were teammates and soon we flirting and UFC didn't exist.
I even had one guy qualifying himself to everyone when he tried to make make me look like a quiet boring kid in corner, using Hobbit's act gay idea.
This is going to start turning into a field report so that is where this will continue.
