A Sticking Point or SP is an issue you CONSISTENTLY run into.
It is
NOT a point where you get stuck with ONE SPECIFIC GIRL.
A Sticking Point is:
Quote:
I keep getting LMR whenever I bring girls back to my place. This has happened at least 10 times already! What am I doing wrong?
A Sticking Point is NOT:
Quote:
I got LMR with this one girl! What do I do?
IT IS AGAINST THIS BOARD'S RULES TO POST THREADS ABOUT JUST ONE GIRL
If you have not already gone out and practiced enough to have a real Sticking Point from meeting an ABUNDANCE of women, YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO POST HERE.

for the last 6 however i have slacked off in evolving my skills, and have subsequently reverted to being somewhat AFC -- by this i mean that while i am talking to a girl, i know what i should say and do, however i must watch myself helplessly screw it up.
If anyone has experienced this please help me out!
If anyone can point me to or suggest some exercises that would help me out, or point me to some reading material in the forums which can get me back into the mindset, it would be much appreciated.

You learn a bit of game and it does not take you as far as you thought it would. Therefore you stop improving and go back to your old lifestyle.
The best way to cure this is to seriously make an effort to improve your game. Push it harder than ever and accept the pain it brings...

I started up in July of 2008. I was really into this and I still am. However, I did slack for a month or two because I was going through a tough divorce and found it hard to focus on my game. I fell back a bit into AFC status, but my ambition grew stronger after realizing I was single again. I knew it would not be easy improving my game, but in the end it's all about what you want and how badly you want it. Think of how miserable you were before. I look back at my old self and actually get pissed off because I realize how much of a loser I really was. Now I don't want to get on my soap box here, but it really is all about inner game. I'm not the best looking guy, but I consider myself attractive because I know I'm not bad looking by any means. But I was talking to a girl I work with and this guy started a very offensive conversation with her. He is a very very good looking guy. She told me that she thought he was good looking until he opened his mouth and then he became but ugly. This goes to show that you NEED inner game. With the right attitude your outer game will improve. I promise. I'm living proof. I hate the old me and I will never go back. (I'm talking of course about my AFC status, I dont actually hate myself) Being shy and not approaching were the biggest mistakes of my life. I'm glad I got into the game and all I can say is make comparisons. Do you WANT to be and AFC again? Do you ENJOY not meeting women? Hopefully the answer is NO! You have to set your sights on something in life. I'm greatful that I found the PUA community while I am still young (22). Just realize your potential, harness it, employ some intiative and like anything else you work for, it will be so much more appreciated than something you were given (i.e. drunk girl, or paying for a prostitute) Give the women what they want, the fruits of your labor will NOT go unrewared. I promise. _________________ Only those who dare to fail greatly, can ever achieve greatly.

Sometimes you get into slumps and sometimes your hot. The biggest thing i can tell you is do what people do in sports, Just do the extra practice. When you see guys playing pro-ball and they get into slumps they hit the batting cages after practice.

It is the ability to evolve and change that aids progression.
