So I went to this bar last night with 2 buddies it was called Proof in downtown Santa Ana. We went out to the patio and had a smoke, where also I encountered an HB8 with an HB6. We made eye contact but because of my usual shyness early at the bar I didn't capitalize. I re-met them at the bar and so I approached next to them and asked
Me:"Is that a gin and tonic" .
HB6: No, its a vodka tonic.
me: do you not like gin?
hb6: no, i like both.
..
and so the conversation went on...until I started using negs
she mentioned her friend HB8, drinks like a man and so I quickly negged her by saying " let me check under your neck for something" she laughed like...omg who is this guy (in a friendly way) and so I quickly said " just kidding" to not get her mad.

I used these negs on HB8:
me:are those nails for real?
her:.....yes.
me:oh...they're nice!

and

is your hair real?
same response.
they went on why i asked and i told them girls lately are big on fakeness so i just had to check.
they started going on about how their friends were fake...how much they hated fake qualities of a girl...and so forth.

...
i bought HB8 a drink cuz i challenged her to a shot. she took it of course and thanked me 4 the drink.

I realized I made a mistake but had to just go with the flow. I genuinely wanted to just have a good time and not apply rules, negs, and etc. tonight and so buying her a drink was not for game but my first intentions when drinking with someone.
I challenged her again to a shot and she accepted but said she had to go to the bathroom with her friend and I would meet them at the bar. Time passed and I'm not sure if I drank to much then, but they were nowhere in sight.
That's not how my night ended but for that portion of it had ended. No number from her and no goodbye.

Can you guys help me out and tell me what went wrong there?

This is when I started hitting on them.
I started talking to the HB6 to lower the HB8's defenses. I used
