Can men trigger these same dog and cat switches in women, that pets trigger? How can we trigger her to hold us up to low standards of behavior, like a dog?
How do make her to obsess over us like over her garden, in return for flowers?
If we could do the above, then how much work could it be to then enter a relationship? Where is the tremendous payback of owning a pet or planting vegetables???????

Look:

(1) 63% of all U.S. households (71.1 million) have pets
(2) Pet ownership is often inconvenient and costs money.
(3) Many women pay a lot of attention to their pets.
(4) Pets are not leaders of men, and they burp and fart.
(5) Pets are constantly clingy and needy, yet this is okay!
(6) Many breeds have only one survival skill: being cute.
(7) People become obsessive about hobbies such as
gardening, collecting shoes, even housework.

What's going on here? Can a man take a completely different and contrarian approach to the normal dating advice, by assuming and presenting the characteristics of a pet or collectible item, and thereby be invited to just tag along on walks or become the object of a hobby like obsession?

This totally puzzles me, and I wonder if anyone has tried to emulate a dog or tried to become a woman's obsessive hobby.

Maybe I'll try to act as a dog or cat at work (IN SUBTLE WAYS!), and see how people respond. Perhaps I'll go hang out at the pet store, to see what the dogs and cats are doing to attract women, cause they sure seem to get a lot of attention. Surely the animals are doing "SOMETHING". I already went to check out the garden, and I found that the flowers there were peacocking, and showing off nice scents, shapes, and colors.

Positively purplexed, though not a pet owner.

Interesting idea, without having thought for too long about the reasons, the first thing that strikes me would be their vulnerebility surely. They share this facet with newborn babies, drugged up rockstars, and all types of animals I guess. It would be quite good to find out ways to give yourself that all important ALPHA status whilst showing the woman moments of fleeting vulnerability. Kind of like a vicious looking dog that loves nothing but a little doggy treat but then after that goes straight back to being the protector. Maybe I'm wrong, be interesting to see what others think.

Huh. I can't see a dog being attractive though. Plenty of nice guys get what I would describe as "pet attraction" and get lots of attention, but never a close.

Still though, worth a shot and it seems like you'd lead a cushy life if she was that devoted to you. Keep working on this, it may evolve into something!

Lessons Learned, Lesson No1: Animals leave their scent.

Put a unique smelling cologne on your HANDS. As you interact with the girl, ensure you get it all over her clothes. Then when she's at home hanging up her clothes, it's YOU she'll be reminded of. But please don't pee on her; they don't like that.
