Two of the 3 girls were almost the same rating but I decided to target the slightly less attractive one as I got a dancing cue from the hottest chick so I opened by commenting on how low she went on the floor. I used a genuine time constraint and built up rapport from there. Just as we were getting on so well a large built guy (possibly a rugby player) takes her by the arm and I could tell by her body language that she feels uneasy. This is where I used the husband and wife routine.
You will need: 1 plain band ring either silver or gold that fits your ring finger. I chose to use a celtic band ring which I was using to peacock with because in Scotland (my country) and Ireland it is not uncommon for people to wear celtic rings as wedding rings even though they are not traditional wedding rings.
I asked the target 'Do you know this guy' and she replied 'No!' with a look of disgust so I switched my ring from my right ring finger to my wedding ring finger and said 'Lets play Husband and Wife' in a playful manner with a mellow tone. She removed his arm and I put my arm left arm around her and took her left hand with my right and stroked her gently and affectionately with my left hand up and down her left arm from her shoulder to her elbow. He saw my arm and saw the ring and I was facing him with her in between and was looking lovingly at her and he soon got the hint and left.
Unfortunately due to a genuine time constraint I had to go soon after because I was going to a DJ set that i'd already paid for. I got her number and gave her a kiss on the cheek and said 'if he comes back tell him your husband has left because he has work in the morning and will be going back to him tonight' she laughed and we hugged and parted ways.
What do you thing guys? _________________ hootsmon

I think you can use it even in a playful way, not necessarily to push of another guy, and then use the "You're not a thief, are you?" phrase and let her keep the ring so that she could return it to you when you meet her again.
