Say you date a girl a few times for a month or so and then she tells you she just wants to be friends or some other line like that, what would be a funny obnoxious random thing to say?

They are probably going to expect that you will be sad or get mad, so short of ignoring then, a blow off sort of response would be the most satisfying. I don't know why, but the first thing that poped in my head is "98 bottles of beer on the wall... ok take care!" like they are just another girl and you are being really light hearted about it. I think that one would work best for text or email.

just say something like "ya, i was kinda thinking that, too". if you're just cool with it and go along with it like nothing bothers you, it can only be a good thing. first of all, she might continue to be in your life when otherwise she wouldn't have.

second, if she actually turns out to be a good female friend then she'll be much more valuable to you than just some random girl you're sleeping with (why most guys can't seem to figure this out is beyond me).

if you don't have any interest in her as a friend at all, then a simple "cool. take care." like you suggested is fine.
