the more I get into pick-up the more I'm also reading about alpha male behavior and confidence. especially the David DeAngelo stuff doesn't only encourage you to be confident with women, but to be confident with anybody and showing AMOG behavior.
as this is something that really can be constantly practiced, I've already made some progress. most of my friends are very extrovert and confident, but I've already managed to AMOG a few of them (I think you feel it if it happens). I'm not talking about stuff you would do to obstacles in a club - these are my friends.
i've tried out stuff like, when they try to be funny or try to be cocky I'll answer stone cold or show no reaction at all. or when they tell you something disagree with them and give strong arguments (even ridicule what they just praised - yeah it's not nice sometimes). generally seek confrontation. and then say or do something nice on your terms. also make all the decisions e.g. when to go, where to go, how to get there. you can disguise these as suggestions, they usually won't come up with anything better
when in a conversation of three or more people, interrupt the cocky characters in the group, don't let them finish what they wanted to say (this can be difficult and depends on how well the betas respond to you)
problem (and inspiration for most of this) is one of my best friends. he does exactly that, coming up with good suggestions and everybody just agrees. or calling you out on if you tried to be funny but it really wasn't
please post it if you've got routines how to AMOG people or what you think about the topic. eventually, being an alpha male will help you with everything from women to career success
