ok so heres the story, i just met this girl and i found her pretty interesting and i got to the point where i find out she has a bf somewhere out there. not in ny where we are. so everytime i talk to her i feel like she might feel uncomfortable when i try to see if i can go out with her or grab a bite. shes in another building/major so its not as if i can see her everyday. I don't want to go find out where she usually is and make it seem like i'm trying hard, but I guess i can make an excuse for being over there. You guys got any good openers to get her to just spend some time with me so i can build attraction/rapport and use a good bf destroyer? or is it too soon for a bf destroyer?

Well, it kind of depends on the nature of your conversation with her to this point. I mean, we can give you some good lines, but will it fit with the personality that she already has come to expect of you? I wouldn't worry about the b/f destroyer YET. But if she keeps bringing him up, then YES.

First of all, DON'T ask her out. If you know something you two share in common, TELL her to meet you there at a certain time that you know she has available. If she has any interest in you, she will show.
