What's everyone's favourite answers?

HB: *playfully/curiously/nicely* Why are you wearing that silly hat?

PUA: So pretty girls come up and ask me why I'm wearing this silly hat. I mean it hasn't worked yet but it's still early. [Nice push/pull]



Unfortunately, I've had this happen a couple of times. It's the result of having an alternative rocker/slightly goth look in a sports bar/nightclub. After the first time I was prepared:

HB: *bitchy, probably trying to win approval of her friends by humiliating you*: What are you wearing that awful hat for?

PUA: *look her up and down* haha, at least I made an effort tonight.
PUA *to her friends*: Is she always like that?
PUA *to her friends*: How does her boyfriend put up with her? (She almost certainly doesn't have one if she's seeking approval like that)
HB's friends: She doens't have one.
PUA: Well I wonder why!

The great thing about this, is all that happens is the approval she was seeking from her friends is gained by you. Little chance of getting with her or her friends but at least you come out a winner.


Could do with some better responses for:

HB: Nice hat!
PUA: Cheers! [put it on her head]

Obviously that only really works with hats!



Any other ideas? I've only just started peacocking properly but it is quite effective

I like some of your responses. I think it was said in the game by Style, he said if an HB compliments you on something then one of the best responses can just be "Thank you". Obviously you can take it as an IOI and just move on to other material but you definitely don't need to over think it.

However, if an HB makes fun of your "peacocking" items then yea say something like

"Is your friend always like this"

or the super cocky version

"Well someone here has to look good"
