This is an interesting little thing to discuss, it's a neat game, story and explanation.
Ask the girl if she knows why the wedding ring is worn on the 4th finger.

1. Align your hands together parallel to each other.
2. Then rest your fingers tips to tips with the exception of the middle fingers. which are still aligned face to face.
(A game follows, follow the arrangements using 5 fingers but only one pair can split at a time.)
3. Try to open your thumbs, the thumb represents parents, it can be opened because all humans go through the sick and the dead, which is how our parents will leave us one day.
4. Close up your thumbs, then open your index fingers, the index finger represents brothers and sisters, they will have their own family as well and will eventually leave us too.
5. Close up your index fingers, then open up your pinky finger, this represents your children. Sooner or later they too will leave us for they have their own life to live.
6. Now close up your pinky fingers, try to open your ring fingers which we put our wedding ring on, you will be surprised to find that it cannot be opened at all. Because it represents husband and wife and your whole life you will be attached to each other.
Real love will stick together forever.

Now after this you can also explain that there is a vein connected to your ring finger that is also connected to your heart. You can also add some humor after the sincere game and say " Well they'll stay together forever unless they get a divorce".

It should create more interest in her.

People should try the game on themselves because you can't separate the ring fingers from each other if you do it properly. So far it's worked great for me girls.

Because it amkes the trick, if you don't line up your middle finger parallel to each other, you still can separate your ring fingers from each other slightly.

But I like that idea, if a girl does ask me that I'll definitely remember it because it's clever.
