Hey guys,

I've recently been doing some research on the October Man Sequence and I've heard a lot of mixed opinions, if anyone knows about it, please help me out here.

I've heard that it can be really dangerous, how so and in what way?
Also, it sounds a bit strange to use in the field...

Any information on OMS would be useful.

Alex

Let me put it this way: if you have to ask you shouldn't even think about it.

It's basically linking emotional states to a psychological construct that takes the form of an object of the subject/victim/girls choice. You then link the psychological construct (and the emotional states that are now fixed onto it) to yourself. This causes the subject/victim/girl to feel whatever damned feelings you want them to feel about you, and to have an anchor (in the form of the imaginary object) that you can use to re-awaken those emotions.

It's not hypnotism, although it is hypnotic. And done correctly can really screw with somebodies circuits because they probably wont know what the hell is happening other than the fact that they're 'playing a cool imagination game' with you. So be careful.

Thanks for the reply Ice :D OMS does sound like it could be potentially dangerous, but I'll continue to research it and I might try applying it next time I'm in the field. Would be very interesting to see how well it works.

But I'm going to look into it a lot more first, I don't want to try it without fully grasping the idea of it.

Well, from what I hear it won't work if you apply it in the field and will only make you look weird

I know nothing about NLP, but I have read that the OMS is completely useless unless you have many years of NLP experience (essentially, it will only work if you are an NLP expert and understand exactly how to perform it)

Naw, that's not true; it's like saying you need to understand how a gun operates to shoot somebody.

Sure, it really helps but it isn't necessary.

And as for 'applying it in the field' and looking weird - well, yes and no. Yeah, it's unusual and if you're not competant then you'll come across like a twit. And it's not something that you should really try to do in a nightclub or anything... it's a 'let's do this cool thing now we're hanging out as buddies' type of sequence.

But everyone that says 'you need a bazillion years of NLP experience to work it' and 'it wont work anyway'. Or 'you'll look weird and people hate weird people, even if it's weird in a strangely facinating way' are projecting their own insecurity, misunderstanding and incompetance. Although most of the time the people that are most against the OMS, language patterns and speed seduction in general simply don't want other people to know about them.

"It's alllllll mine! Mine I tells you! Muahahahahaha!"

october man is not a key part of the game, it barely makes an appearance. Jefferies just said in the wrong hands it can mess a girl up

Hmmm, it does sound a bit strange to use but it's worth a try I suppose.

Although, I've also done some research on fractionation and the 'shock and awe' opener. The fractionation thing from what I've heard, is basically telling the HB some kind of story, build up the positive emotions, anchor them, then make her feel negative emotions and anchor them again.

From some of the stuff I've read on fractionation, it doesn't sound like it'll increase sexual attraction, it just sounds like you're trying to gain sympathy from the HB.

But this thread is about the October Man Sequence so I shall keep it that way :)
I still don't totally buy it, is it worth trying? I live in a fairly small town (news will travel fast if I come across as weird in my delivery)

Not trying to be a downer here, but every thread about this sequence has been locked in the past. It's considered a "forbidden pattern" and unless the rules have changed on here, this thread will be shut down very soon. It is an interesting topic though.

Don't know what else is forbidden, but the reason OMS is labeled as such is because it screws people up. You simply don't play with fire like that.

waste of your time. would take years of practice for most people to make it work, and there will be way to many distractions to do it in most places. you will come across as creepy.
