Probably the most common question you hear once u first meet some-one, so what do u do? work or study?

Well my response to this is first with a lil joke "oh im a professional rock-star on weekends, pornstar weekdays"... always works good.. but then when im telling them about what i actually do, my delivery is pretty bad.

This DHV story is prob going to be the most used story i'll tell, so need some help developing it. Did a Search n Read a few articles but still having trouble just getting the right phrases together.

I am a University student, studying commerce (finance), however im not very passionate about it, i usually say im just doing it cos it keeps me busy, VERY Bad i know but i dont exactly want to tell them i love it when i dont, however it should be used as a DHV some-how, any ideas?

im 22 years old, Healthy, Lean, Tanned skin, Dark hair. Not sure this helps but hey the more info u guys know the better right?

I Work at a pretty trendy clothes store, everyone in my town knows this store, lets call is Trend Clothing. This is the best DHV i have... maybe i should be like, u can come in n visit me but no discounts or something... then go on to talk about fashion or something.

So when they ask, so what do u do?

.....got any good responses/dhv stories. Or if u guys know any good links post them please!

Hey Sebastian,

My first question is: "If you don't like it then why do you study it?"

Sometimes it is good to make up stories out of the blue. When people ask me what I do, instead of describing what I actually do I tell them the story of why I am doing what I am doing...

For example, if you work in a trendy fashion store, tell her the story of why you love fashion or the day you realized you were into it. Make sure you include of lot of details and you bring it to a high emotional level.

Hope this helps!

I guess when you are 22, working in a clothing store is less a dlv than being an accountant....weird ;)

If you are not really comforable talking about your job or work you can easily create a play on words story about what you "do". You can either present this in a fun manner where you are obviously skirting the question or you can act oblivious to the double meaning.

Do just what she asked and talk about something you like to do - i.e. a favorite hobby, sport, whatever you are passionate about. The key here is to let her see that you are a passionate individual and are excited about the things you spend your time on. Having this good energy will get her emotions pumping and make her excited to be with you. At the end of your shpeal she won't care what your work actually is.

Once you are on date 2 or 3 it won't really matter how you present your job or career study. At this time she will be comfortable with you no matter what you do. But here are some ideas for that as well.
Job - you can incorporate how you are getting to be a fashion guru being around that SPAM all the time. Or perhaps that you are getting bored of looking at good looking women all day long. The idea here is say what you do but make it playful or fun.
Finance - You went into finance so you can meet all the hot girls in your classes
