I am currently in my Sophomore year and am stuggling to use what I have learnt to meet girls in college. I have noticed that reputation is key...like last night I approached a girl on my class ("a strong 8") and she blew me off...not a big deal, i just moved on to the next set..

But the next day, I saw her in class and it seemed like all her friends knew about what happened too! Now i am pretty strong-minded and that does not bother me...but that event has dented my rep slightly...

i just wanted to hear how other college guys are meeting girls as i don't think normal approaches work that well at college.

Why don't you game on girls that are not in your classes instead. Campuses are big and I would befriend girls in my class and also flirt. If it leads to something then that's cool, if not then you could always meet her friends, have socials proof and pre selection when hanging out with them which will only help you with other girls.

I really don't like being 'that guy' that tells you that it's nothing to worry about, but I've gamed girls at my workplace and it's similar. the number one lesson I've learned is that if her friends are looking at you and talking, it's because you made an impression on her.

I always look at it in the positive, she's seeking her friends approval to talk to you...I could be wrong, but what if I'm not? besides, who cares right?

I do alot of regression with girls im picking up. (make them feel like they're in elementary school) I pass notes, I make stupid jokes about the teacher, w.e. You're in a class with them. So right off the start you have things in common: the class, interest in whatever topic you're studying, friends etc...

If you want a good opener, try: ''hey can I borrow your pen real quick''
if you want you can use that pen to draw something on her paper.
etc..

Just do fun stuff like that and you wont have any problems, its much easier than picking up a girl at a club cause you know you can see her everyweek whether or not you try, so no need to rush into things, play it out see where it takes you.

How did u get blown out? It is just weird hearing that cz I'm in college too and is not liek a club, you don't get blown out because usually everyone is friendly, unless you are all sleazy?

And what is your normal approach?

Currently too, I am a student at Toledo University, here are some ways to meet girls at college
1.Throw pre-parties at a dorm or friend's house
2.Join a Fraternity or club
3.Create study groups with girls in class
4.Become A Part Time Club Promoter
5.Bring beer or girls to random house parties
6.Throw Parties on off nights at clubs/bars/lounges
