This is a thread designed to contribute to the communities stock of canned openers. There are some excellent ones out there but they are getting more and more known by HB's at frequently sarged clubs and we must move with the times.

The goal is to make a ongoing, evolving stock of openers that we as a forum of PUA's can use and share to decrease the chance of blowing out a set by using old canned material.

Therefore the goal of this thread is to post an entirely original opener. You should critique above posts as harshly as possible (please, no one take it personally - it is in the interest of improving OUR game). If the thread reaches a few pages long I will personally field test the best opener from each page and report back.

If you are struggling for ideas consider that many good openers come from the "female opinion" category.

PUA: Hey what do you think of MALE make-up?

HB: blah blah blah.

PUA: The reason I ask is that my little brother has started experimenting with eye-liner and foundation. I mean I open to new things (transition to yout funny voice/bodylanguage) but I don't want him to come home one day in a set of heels and tell us he has changed his name to Tiffany. What do you think?

Does Day Game count? Here's one I've been using quite a bit recently, which has garnered mixed results.

PUA: Excuse me. Hey there, now I'm usually good with picking this (stall for a while, possible leaning back and subtlely pointing while smiling)... are you a tourist, visiting from another country?

HB: Yes (usually half the battle is already won).

HB: No (well, at least you've opened in a fun way).

Then you can easily transition into travel, geography and family related threads.

I am conflicted about this opener. I like the tourist semi-neg and the little spike saying "I am usually good at this".... but what is the motivation for saying it? I can't see any way that this would pass as spontaneous. That being said it has a lot of interesting directions for conversation....

Me and my freind opened up a two set with this in mcdonalds, worked fine

(Do take in mind though that this requires one guy to wing the whole opener and get nothing out of it, but hey anything to help out a freind)

Guy1: Look im trying to help my freind Guy2 here, he has been together with his girlfreind for 3 months and they are having their anniversary; he has no idea what to get her though, do you guys have any suggestions?

its not the best, but it worked

this one i used at west edmonton mall a bunch of times always worked good.

"hey do you guys know any good stores that i might like checking out in this mall?" they'll be like "ya you should check out abricroombie." then.. you neg them

Or

"hey my friend here is shopping for his girlfriend and doesnt know what to get her. what do you guys think , you seem cool."
