BUY A SHIT LOAD OF HERSHEY'S KISSES. the candy. put about 3 in your pocket. when you two are alone, with a serious voice say "HEY YOU WANNA KISS?", If she says yes, then START KISSING!!!, if she says "NO" or "EWW nooo" or just says some stupid shit, just say "OH OK" and take out a kiss and start eating it in front of her. works like a charm. funny too. the look on her face will be priceless haha.

one question is how to recover after that line because the idea of the rejection would play a part surely? Btw i am new soo be easy and even possibly suggest something?

It may play a part, but if it did I think the part would be too small for any kind of impact because she will just think it was a misinterpretation on her part and feel dumb about it... like "Ohhhh, that's what he meant." If she does say something like, "I thought you meant like makeout" you can just tease her about her mind being 'in the gutter' or something to that effect.

Could you say if she does say afterwards 'oh i thought you meant makeout'

try and make her qualify herself by saying

'you're not my type anyway' then go into a routine as such?
