It works great if you are approaching a set of mixed males and females. I usually slide in and start talking to everyone, smoothly slide over and talk to the target or her female friends.
If (more like when) the girl jokingly says something cocky to me I lean back, lift my arm and I pretend like I'm gonna take an extremely exhaggerated swing att her face, you have to exhaggerate so she won't think you are serious, but she shouldn't know the first tenth of a second whats goin on, it's the suprise that gets them!
The girls always think this is funny because it is so absurd, and the guys are always shocked and speechless because they would never think of doing such a unmoral thing .
These reactions are very typical and it will help you to instantly get closer to the girl than the guy who was standing right next to her!
