i am a smoker of cigarettes and i wanted some fellow pua insight into a question that i've had for a while, which is is smoking a dhv or dlv, not taking into account if the girl smokes or not, just in general. Please don't use this to give me the smoking kills talking-to btw. I just want to know, from a strictly pu perspective, smoking: dhv or dlv?

Really it depends on your surroundings. Really If your at a bar, it's most likely they smoke.

I honestly in the public point of view it can be viewed most likely as DLV.

My friend has theory...He doesn't pull out a cigarette or a lighter until he see's some other girl smoke. Then he can use the lighter opener.

I personally don't care but preferred if they didn't do it around me.

DHV or DLV? Really, it's all about how you spin it! It can be either/or. I smoke when I drink, so I make the best of it that I can. It has yet to really outwardly effect a set or a girl, so I think my take on it isn't that bad. If you're confident the majority of the time you're gonna be doing the opening, speaking and introducing. Generally, if they disapprove they'll say so. Don't apologize or defend yourself, you're smoking, you want to and they'll deal with it. Girls notice your "manners" with a cigarette. You need to know how to keep the smoke from flowing in her face or the cigarette getting her way. They'll catch this "natural" care and consideration subconsciously. Now, if she smokes, no worries. So many routes - give her shit for her brand of cigs, lighter opener, there will be a natural connection you already have by both smoking, etc. As long as you're not chain smoking and don't apologize or bend to her will for it, you'll be fine. It can only be a DHV! Hope this helps!
