I know girls in clubs are always approached by guys, so their shields are usually up. So I wanna know, would this be a good neg:

"Hi there, I wanted to come up and say hi before from far away you looked kinda pretty".

I'm intending this as a neg, but I'm scared it will actually raise up their value while lowering mine.

Another one I thought I wanted to try was:

"Your dress is very pretty, it must be popular cause I think my sister had the same one!".


Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

The first is really an insult and not a neg, please don't use it.

The second one is better. It has been used by Mystery in some sort. I can't remember the exact wording but it's very similar.

the second is great.

as others have said, the first is bad. In fact, invert the qualities youre demonstating with it and youll get:

1. you only just saw her and decisively approached her with no intention of saying "hi".
2. you dont judge her on her looks

so instead, and I just made this up so it hasnt been tested yet, you could go up and say

"your pendant (or other shiny object shes wearing) is glaring light in my eyes, are you doing that deliberately?!" Then you could talk about that object, or elaborate "Ive got one too, its a..." and youre away.

Also, if loads of guys are hitting on her like you said, you could wait for one to leave, approach and say

"my ex girlfriend had loads of losers hitting on her too. If you want me to sort them out, just give me a shout", then walk away to your friends. you can approach them a little later.

again, I just made that up, so its for you (or me) to test.

PS. what youre doing hitting on girls in a club I just dont know.
