Last night I was talking to this HB I know that has a LTR. I ran a bit of a BF destroyer when she brought up having a hard time with him last night saying how he might be going away to play hockey somewhere. Anyways I said them and she went on about how it didn't seem like he cared about her more than hockey and all this garbage like that and I tried to praise the guy like it mentions. I could tell it was bugging her as her answers got shorter and shorter from detailed replies to "haha yeah" eventually I switched to tell her how I disagree with his values etc. She continued saying how it's just a once in a life time opportunity to him and she'd do what she can but wouldn't stand in his way.

She then said she was so sorry for bringing it up with me cause we haven't really talked in person much at all before and I told her to just make it up to me next time we run into each other. SHe said she regretted bringing it up with me and when I asked her why she just said she didn't know and changed the subject..

We ended up playing 21 questions after her asking what happened with my ex and it was pretty interesting towards the end her answers got short and cold and I wasn't sure if she was just falling asleep or not since it was 3am so I ended the conversation telling her to message me when her "brain wasn't mush" she laughed and said maybe and goodnight.


Did I play the boyfriend destroyer technique well? I can't quite pick up if it's supposed to happen where she gives cold answers for it.

Either way she seemed more than flirty throughout the convo which is unusal for a girl like her since she doesn't normally act like that from what I can remember. I have talked to her before when I was in a LTR she was cold but she's always been open whenever I'm single now that I think about it.

I think I'll friendzone her and then leave it at that. I couldn't handle the guilt from thinking about it the next day. Plus she really is in love with the guy, they been together for like 3-4 years. Haha it was so bad bud, she eventually caught on I think or something happened cause a few days after she went MIA and I haven't heard from her since. Saw her at school though, but thought it was best to leave it, oh well
