The only "routine" which I use in natural/direct game... is the cube. I've done the cube since high school after reading psychology and body language books as a hobby. It got stuck, and somehow, it managed to become a part of me. It's something people will expect me to do/say.

What I'm trying to say, is that now matter how good the routine, it must be true to yourself. It must flow naturally. The cube was never a routine to begin with, it was a playful game that people would use if they are good at "cold reading" people.
