I was brainstorming this today. I was wondering to myself, "How in the hell can I turn something better than the other COLD-READING TRICKS I posted up?" The answer was this. Everyone likes cakes and everyone can relate to a cake to their birtday.

The object is that while they're telling stuff about the cake and whatever, it's really refering to them. Here it goes:

1) Let them imagine that their a cake. Ask them how big and color the cake is.
2) Ask them how thick is their frosting and how does it taste. (SWEET or RICHr whatever)
3) Ask them if the cake has any decorative designs on them or is it a plain cake or is it decked out.
4) Ask them how many candles are on the cake.
5) Ask them would you be able to share yourself to other people.
6) Tell them the analysis.

BREAK DOWN:

-The size of the cake and color is their EGO and PERSONALITY.
-The SQUARE or ROUND relates to what kind person they are inside. A SQUARE would be a rigid person, that isn't very flexibe. The round is a person that is very open and very outgoing. Don't forget opened-minded to things.
-The THICKNESS of the frosting and TASTE relates to how what other people view them (eg. hard to get close to, if the frosting is thick. What kinda person they appear to be like.)
-The DECORATION of the cake relates to whether or not they're creative, imaginative, or just not so artisitic or imaginative.
-The CANDLES relate to how friendly they are and how open they are to friendship
- The SHARING relates to how close can that person be or how much information they will give you.

This you'll guys will love. I Field Tested it with several people at DAY PROGRAM. Have fun guys!

Hey stealth, good post.

I myself am a huge fan of cold readings. Everyone likes to hear about themselves, even if they already know what your telling them (or think they do).

Cold reading techniques and routines also help you develope good skills at reading people. Combine reading body language, reading physcial traits, and being able to make assertations based on small things they say or tonality and you find yourself with a good arsonal of things to say that come accross as intresting.

A short story, last night i was talking to my friend/ex-roomate and his girlfriend came in. Since i have been talking about The Game with him i decided to give him a little preview. First i started by getting him to relay comments between me and his girlfriend. Id tell him what her reaction would be over the phone before he told me about it. Then she started giving me IOI's like asking my name, where im from, what school, what sign even...just an onslaught of questions.

She figured out my sign but had to look it up online by my dob, i negged her for it. After she read me my lil profile thingy based on my sign i had them put me on speaker phone and did a 4 questions cold reading on both of them (saying now i was gonna tell her about herself, and not cheat by using the internet). She exclaimed by the second question that i was "Dead on" (even though she had been skeptical of 1-2 things i said). She was really into and when i finished i had my friend put me off speaker and told him that its a routine i use alot...explained a bit more, etc.

After wards he was very intrested in reading the game. However my point is that people are generally very intrested in cold readings even if they dont know that your doing one.

Work on yours to the point that you can do it under any situation/pressure and it will become a very useful tool.

wouldnt it be more logical if you ask "would you share your cake", your asking to share herself at that moment she could figure out already that she is the cake wich makes the neg possibilty lesser

i always like to use style's neg "do you want to know what it means? it means absolutely nothing "
