So a quick back story

Met my ex a month ago and had successfully K closed her in a few hours. Attraction was there and all that, but towards the last week it was slowly dying off (had called her a dumbass as a joke and she took it really bad)

So I went to rectify the situation and I could see her interest for me was lower than ever before. She even changed the way she had my name saved on her phone, a sure indicator that she considered us 'over'. Grabbed her hand and told her it wasnt working out, and we should stay friends.

Her: "I still like the idea of you, and I still want to see you" (She was super needy with me, calling me up and shit almost daily)

Now Ive initiated no contact, and its been 5 days in. Deleted her number just to resist calling her again. But the problem is, Im good friends with her social group, and I enjoy hanging out with them (including her twin sister).

So what should I do? Cut off all contact with them all? I talk to her best friend still (she hasnt mentioned the breakup as if nothing even happened, I suspect they both talk about me alot)

And unfortunately I still see plenty of my ex in uni, but I ignore her like shes a brick wall (she stares at me still), but would the concept of no contact still apply if she saw me from afar everyday?
