Sup fellas,

One of my favorite ways to open a set is to just enter and randomly try to guess their names.

I point to each one and pretend like i'm tapping into my "psychic" abilities and just spit random names out like "Mary.... Jane... and Andrisa". Its fun to throw really ugly names at the target as a form of a neg too like "Gretchen" or some other ugly name.

The girls almost ALWAYS will be like "OMG you think I look like a ________". Then you can go into any routine about her hair or other physical feature that made you think she looked like a ________. You can weave DHV's in there too while you're at it if youre feelin frisky. Also sometimes you will get close to their name and they eat that shit up.

I opened a 3 set that way the other night who were just sitting on the couch talking to each other. Almost got one girls name right actually which ultimately led to her number.

Lolz, my sister's name is Gretchen. But she changed it to Greta once she got older. People used to call her Gertrud.

Another idea for that is to have your wing do recon on the set first, or even ear hussle them before you open them. Try find out one of their names before you open them without them realizing it, preferably your target's name. Then make that the last one you guess and you'll get it right and they'll all be amazed.

Great shout there,try and get some inside knowledge to at least get one of them right.. Getting them al right would obviously look fake. I've done this one before, again using the same technique here and giving the target a horrific name, i think it was Betty. After she expressed that she was offended i would guess that, i then told her to let me redeem myself by performing a reading on her personality, leading into another routine i am sure you are all familiar with- The Cube. This got her on her own as the others went to get drinks whilst i was in this routine. Safe to say i got a solid number-close and a kiss

Yea, that's actually some good routine stacking. Name guessing then transitioning to the cube or palm reading. That's what pick up is all about. Unless you come across as interesting and with something to say, you are just an AFC schmuck like all the rest.

Couldn't agree more with you. Being good at pick up is about always having something to say or a routine so not to let the convo die or get boring, because as soon as she loses interest then you become like every other guy. However if you constantly are hitting her with routine after routine she is always on her feet and you constantly have her attention. Even if you are negging or playing the routines on her friends she will be watching.

This is great. I think it could be improved by guessing everyone in the set as having a normal name except for your target, and give her the ugly name
