I know this is basic PUA knowledge, i am pretty decent when it comes to body language and DHV spikes, topics of conversation, but its my opening that sucks, i find it hard to open, i freeze a bit before initiating. For the main reason i am thinking of how to neg them or demonstrate higher value despite opening the conversation first.
Is there any advice on openers, in say an environment such as a university lecture, or a party. Just little brief tips would help a lot .

You don't want to freeze up, so you better open with confidence and energy. In a school environment you can talk about school work, class, studies, campus life, etc. Maybe talk shit about the teacher or another student. Get her laughing.

Maybe try opening when you see a girl doing something specific. Its the easiest way to open just because its such a casual thing to do. For example you see her eating ask her if it tastes good. If shes practicing for a test start asking her funny questions and pretend its for a test.

@ a party, you might wanna satart of with simple opinion openers. they are very indirect... just make your own =)

ex. at the bar talk with your friend about holidays. like you plan to do a trip together. open a set with

you: hey, paris or Tokyo?"
HBs: what?!
you: my friend (point) and I want discuss about or next travel destination. it should be fancy, I go for paris, but my friend was to go to ricey tokyo, where would you go?!
Hbs: blabla

you can come up with any, just make sure its
a. fun
b. positive
c. your wingman knows what you talk about

I'm starting to like this new kind of opening style I'm learning. Say she's at a party getting some chips and dip. You walk up to the table next to her and start getting some mini weenies or whatever, then start thinking out loud, or ask a question without really looking directly at her or being very direct about it. The idea is to basically bait her into responding to you. It's a very indirect strategy, but it's a good way to ease into a conversation.

Sometimes I'll be around people in general, and I'll say absolutely absurd things based on my observations and opinions. Often times they'll laugh out loud and say something to me in response. It doesn't always have to be you walking up to a girl, tap her on the shoulder, swallow the lump in your throat, and mutter out some nervous opening line. You can mix it up and use a lot of other techniques to start conversations.
