I recently started talking to a girl I have known my whole life, but we hadn't talked in the past two years. we have caught up with each other a LOT, but now we have run out of things to talk about and its hard to hold a convo with her without talking about the same things over and over. (we've been talking on myspace) she doesn't come home for another week, and we have a date planned, so thats not something i can really bring up, and our conversations usually go back to what we're doing in school for some reason...
any interesting/original ideas for conversation that arent too awkward?

what i meant was we were already caught up, so i was counting that out as an option for discussion, but #2 sounds good...
that's actually what i started to do...

If you need things to talk about pull up yahoo news or other news articles, read the odd ones and use that stuff in conversation. A simple hey did you hear about blah blah blah in the news can start long conversations sometimes.

If you were reading her messages right away, and now have to intentionally wait a couple days to read them, that tells you to do more with your life. Add a hobby to your life.
