Then she didn't reply for a week b/c she went to canada and lacked her service. She sent a mass text to everyone on her contact list to apologize for not replying.

You know people will always tell you what you did wrong, but not what you did right. The stuff above wasn't good at all in my opinion. You sort of apologized for making a joke by telling her it was a joke. Made you seem less cool for a second. After that you got back into a good conversation. Maybe you should have told her that you wanted to see her dance for you or something instead of "because lol" at the end.

You use a lot of "lol", which is fine since she also does.

Also, what is wrong with Canada?
