According to Style, the eye goes to one of seven different positions when someone
thinks: Each position means the person is accessing a different part of their
brain.

Tell me more about it guys.

It's an NLP idea, I believe, that the eyes move to different positions when you're accessing certain parts of the brain. There's 6 different eye cues to look for:

Up and to the left: Visual Construct - When they're imagining something visually that isn't part of their memory. (May be used to identify lying)

Up and to the right: Visual Recall - When they're remembering something they've seen.

Left: Auditory Construct - When they're imagining a sound that they haven't heard before.

Right: Auditory Recall - When they're remembering a sound they've heard before.

Left and down: Kinaesthetic - When they imagine a feeling.

Right and down: Auditory Digital - When they think to themselves, like internal dialogue, such as thinking the 5 times tables in their heads.

From what I understand this only applies to a right-handed person, and the opposite would apply to a left-handed person, but I'm certainly not an expert so I'm not too sure about that. From what I've seen the eye patterns do work, though it can probably be quite hard to follow them when having a conversation with someone.

If you want to try it out, ask someone questions and see where their eyes go. For example, you could ask them to imagine what it feels like to get into a warm bath, and their eyes should go down and to the left.

I hope this was helpful.

The basic is that when you look left your accessing the right part of your brain, and when you look right you accessing the left part.

Since the right part of the brain is the "imaginative" part, looking left means someone is lying or making up stuff (this works when you play poker too). The opposite is true, if you look right you access the left part wich is the logical part.
