One of my friends showed me some magic tricks recently and I freaked out, so did 3 of our female friend's. Therefore, I decided to learn some myself to make girls go nuts and to give me another tool to pickup.

I was wondering if some of you guys know some EASY coin or card tricks by specific name, if so...I'd like to know them and I'll get it on youtube 'cuz there's probably a tutorial on it already.

I'd avoid card tricks, looks a bit strange carrying a pack of cards around with you. You want to find tricks you can do with every day items. Look up some good bar magic.

It's just the type of magic. Pretty much magic you can do at a bar. Sure can find loads of free tricks with a quick google search.

I just did the same thing recently. I'll tell you what I found to be the best.

At your local magic store you can buy some coin tricks - gaff coins.

Buy: Pen thru quarter trick, Coin in bottle trick.

Now, since I smoke occasionally at bars I can ask someone if they have a quarter, do a quick switch (you'll have to work on the slight of hand yourself) and then show them how I can put my lit cigarette straight thru the quarter.

At a bar with a bottle of beer you can bet a girl that you can put this quarter (just a regular quarter) into your bottle of beer, she looks,tries says no you can't, say I bet I can put it in my beer. Switch the quarter for the trick quarter (which looks real) and then set it on top of the bottle then turn it and push it in the top, then shake the bottle and turn it up side down to show that it is really in there and stuck.

Now keep in mind I have never and would usually never use either of these as any sort of opener, only after some relevant opener or maybe as part of another routine. But try these tricks and see what works for you.

There's a trick too to always call a coin right when you guess heads or tails,
works wonders when she says she'll date/kiss you if you get it right

nifty one i learned:
cut out a piece of thin plastic in the shape of a quarter.
put that on top of an open beer bottle and flip it around
tadah, the beer doest spill out

i usually go to some coffe shops where the waitresses are half naked, we usually play poker there so in that case card tricks seem more natural than at the mall or anyother place.. but they also good for parties and you could do them before kings cup or any drinking game that involves cards.
look for double lift this is one of the best and more powerful tricks out there. its easy to perform but it takes alot of practice. double lift its used in like several card tricks. my friend is a profesional magician so i got some knowledge on this topic.
coin tricks are my personal favorites but those take time to master..
