With indirect openers, I dont think the content is that important. If your confident you can ask these questions, and have a good follow up to her answer, that leads the conversation in to a way where you can seduce her then thats what matters.

The first one i'm guessing you could follow up to her reply with a funny story which DHV's.
The spring break one, I think hangs on how comfortable she is in talking to strangers, if she is then she'll reel off a story of hew past spring break, during which it might be a good idea to be ready to pick at and tease her about.

The last one is quite random, you might get some funny looks, but the right girl might love it.

I would say it depends on the girl and SPAM when using an indirect opener. The ones you have listed could lead into great stories--mostly bullshit-baffles-brains (BBB) stuff. Just make up stories that DHV and voila.
