My favorite two:

Turbo
Crazy

I open (not initially) with "hey Crazy" alot. And if a girl acts even slightly exhilirated or ancy I'll say "slow down, Turbo" and smile.

Besides the generic universal ones, pet names that actually relate to her are 10x more effective.

I was talking to this beautiful girl that was in highschool band years ago and she played the trombone.

You can imagine how many times I've called her "band geek" and make fun of her trombone arms. :)

otherwise, i like to use sarcastic and exaggerated names.

if you know she's not a big partier, calling her "party animal" is golden.

keep trucking along those lines.

Yaffa (if she's Jewish, she might know what that means)
Baby Gangsta (one I've actually used in the past, sadly. LOL)
Toots
Doll
Dollface
Schnaz (if she has a big nose)
Mami (if she's Spanish)
Ma
Sugarpuss

You also got Captain, did you steal that from me by any chance lol

Here's one they use in england, sweetheart.

I dont normally use pet names for girls, maybe its something i should get into the habit of doing, i dunno.
I dunno about sweetheart lol.
Sweetie
Hun
Petal
Button nose
Senorita

I use those ones a fair bit. I'd try using names that suit.

I'm partial to "Tiger" and the ever-successful "Darling."

i use "darlin", not "darling"... probably cause im in the south...

anyway... i have had a bunch success lately with
"temptress"
"vixen"
makes the girl feel kinda naughty and sexy...

Turbo didnt work for me, but i didnt use it in the right context.

If a girl initially bitch shields, I name her "heart attack". Especially if she's an obstacle, not the target.

Other than that, I like using really weird words. Don't try to make them stick, just use them once for C/F. "Come here my little appetizer". "How's my lampshade doing?" etc.

I don't claim this to be good advice necessarily, mind you, but I am in the process of trying to find out how outrageous I can get with pickup. The extra fun comes when she calls you on it:

HB: *laughs* What did you call me?
Devious: Would you prefer "peanut"? Or how about "candle wax"?
