Hey guys, I've joined this forum pretty recently. So be nice im a god damn n00b ;)

Anyway, I try not to think of custom openers as they often just seem too forced, instead, whenever I think of one I just jot it down. What do you think about this (maybe someone has already thought of something similar?)

Note:for use stacked use after an original opener, not cold. (also best results with HB9 or 10 me thinks?)

Me: ...Sorry, what was your name? (kino touch arm)
Her: Hannah (for example)
Me: Oh no, not another one! (take hand away in disgust)
Her: Wait, what!?
Me: I've had 3 ex girlfriends called Hannah!... - don't get me wrong they were all beautiful girls... but they ended up having the personality of a teaspoon. - So I made a rule never to date girls called hannah.
Her: awww (I hope ;) )

I was thinking it would work really well. She thinks I have had 3 beautiful girlfriends (preselection). A push away when I find out her name (neg) and thinks I don't date girls called hannah (jealously, disqualifier, comfort).

This is my first attempt at custom material. Would love to hear your thoughts and crit.

Ta

Mate the best policy is for you to field test these openers, its seems playful but you definitely want to try them out in the field first then post back your results.

Cheers for the advice, I tried it out last night.... worked surprisingly well. Although it wasn't delivered greatly (first time and all), it still hooked a solid HB9. Started showing a lot of IOI's :D.

Ended up getting a number close... we shall see what happens next. Mohahahaha.

Gratz on the #, now get back out there and test it over and over until you can guage its success, the type of girls it works well on, and any adjustments you needed to make. Post your observations here so that others can learn from your experience!

Peace...

Im a newby here.

Really like that, only problem I could see is information overload, as the kino, neg ect are really close together, you could try including a few extra words to let the separate instances /feelings hit, bang in a time constraint and or talk slow, with pauses... Just to let her feel the ups and lows. You could add to the end by saying

.. Mmm, Hannah... We did have great times together, lets see how you go
Or
.. I can see how different you are, youre definitely not a usual hannah, you could be special, we'll see.

Regardless, I like what you done and will definitely try that, will also add in abit to compare effect, thx man, tell us how you do

Preselection doesn't work that way lol

The only thing that's affective here is the disqualifier.

It's worth the try and I'm sure I can pull it off but I don't recommend using that.

I thought this was going to be a bit contrived but I actually like it.

Think it would work best on an HB8+ The quick succession would fill up the girls cognitive buffer and get you in past the autopilot response due to the confusion induced. Well done mate.

I do something very similar, but i use it to like a pivot to transition form a2 to a3. here is an example:

me: What sign are you?
her: #
me: Not an other....
her: why?/ what?/ or just starts to laugh
me: I't like i'm making some kind of a collection

then i change the subject and go later on, I go back to it for my transition from a2 to a3, and it goes somewhere along this line:

me: you know i was thinking about making a point system for getting in to my collection, since i only want the good stuff. And i'll set the barrier at 20 points.
(from here I'll go giving points away to her for anything but here looks)
Then I go: ok, tell me why you think you'd deserve more point?

Her: for that, and that, and that.... (if she goes like this it's clear that she's into you)

or

Her: Well you know the thing is I don't want to be a piece of your collection.
U: That's 2 more points for attitude.

(then change the subject)

The thing is don't punish if you get that answer just go like a step back and change the subject.
The thing is since you gave her a point for being a bitch she'll be surprised since that should normally not have happened to her till then.

P.S: If you didn't ask for her name jet you could do it with the name also. This is just the way i do it.
