How should I go about this ? Im texting this girl the last few days . Attraction built up. Tonight I just pissed her off being too cocky maybe a neg or 2 too far....my question is ,,, how do you show them your not such a cocky guy all the time without starting to sound like a pussy and loose your frame.

I'm in a very similar position to you right now. Replied to a text while half asleep the morning after a party, didn't get a reply - either she just forgot to reply or I overstepped the line and overplayed the cocky/funny attitude. My game plan is to just wait a few days and text her again starting up a new thread of conversation in a light-hearted way.

If she's told you that you've pissed her off then just tell her that you were only kidding and show her a more sensitive side that appreciates her. If worst comes to worst I don't think it's out of the question to apologise. I'm sure a lot of guys would disagree and say that it's the "beta" thing to do, but if it makes her forgive you and realize you're a nice guy then why not? Better than her thinking you're a huge dick and not wanting to talk to you anymore.

If you do apologise then DON'T do it in a begging or weak manner - say that you're sorry if you offended her, as that wasn't your intention. Make a light hearted joke to change the mood, tease her for getting upset so easily. If you make her laugh then she wont be able to stay angry for long.

Another thing to note is that the easiest way to show a more affectionate side is probably in person, so after she's forgiven you (assuming she's actually pissed off) arrange to meet up and she'll soon forget about that one time you overstepped the line.

Well based on that she isn't pissed off at you at all. Things seem to be going pretty well, so just continue how you're going. Don't spend too much time texting though, arrange to meet her as soon as possible so you can escalate physically
