I tend to neg my GF too much (probably in an attempt to counter-balance how much I truly like her) and she got upset about it a few times. fortunately, we always quickly made up for it. incidentally, I tried not to apologize like a chump. I tell her that I do not mean to hurt her, I do it jokingly, and that I do not want her to be mad.
the dynamics of it seem a good sign to me:
(a) she cares enough that my negging truly hits base with her
(b) at the same time, she is unable to hold the grudge for too long
however, I know I have to slow down the negging.. I think I am just subconsciously afraid of "caring too much" and falling in love..
