Well guys this is an underestimated topic. I have been playing the guitar for 6 years, and I can be a great campfire guitar player/singer. The problem is, I havent given it much thought about how I can use the guitar to my game. I have those questions for the guys who know or do it:

a) How should I bring up that I play the guitar, without sounding cocky or trying to impress her

b) How can I arrange a 'private concert' just for me and her?

c) Can anyone tell me a few good songs to play to chicks that trigger emotions of attraction?

and d) Which type of guitar is the most attractive? Classical, Acoustic or Electric?


For the avoidance of misunderstanding, I dont play the guitar just for the chicks. I loved it since the first day and I love it now. I just wanna know how it can be a plus for my game.

When talking about hobbies transition into musical taste, from there it should be easy to bring up that you're a musician without sounding cocky. Have your guitar out whenever you bring her over to your place, or mention that you sing as well and she will probably want you to sing for her. At least in my experience (I've been playing for about 6 years as well).

As for style, it depends on the girl. My type of girl is punk/ska chicks, so normally I'm playing acoustic versions of punk/ska songs and singing for them, but some girls really like watching a guy shred on an electric.

From my experience, some panty melting songs to sing are: Substitute by Frank Turner, Love, Ire and Song by Frank Turner, I will follow you into the dark by Death cab for cutie, I miss you by Blink 182, and The lowly Carpenter by Mischief Brew.

Make plans that will allow you to pass a music store and take her inside. Pick up a guitar that you like the looks of and strum it a couple times (Don't play a song). Then put it down, I promise she will ask if you know how to play it. Say Yes, I play a little. She will beg for you to play something because she will be compelled to test you.
