Aside from the ESP that everyone knows, what other simple little tricks can I employ to demonstrate immediate value to an isolated HB? Or an HB still in a set?

Yes, tell a story. An interesting, 3 minute story, about something that happened to you and a friend (preferably female). Make one up if you don't have any.
