I dont know if any of you have ever worked in a call center before but I remember when I did we had a thing called call flow. I sold credit cards over the phone and call flow was basically an outline of how the call should go and how to maintain control of the call.
This was just an outline and to be a top agent you had to know and understand the call flow, but also be able to improvise and think on your feet but still be able to accomplish what the goal of the flow was.

It went
Greeting
Agenda (set the frame, establish the fact your in control)
Probe ( find what the cust wants)
Prescribe (tell the cust why this is good for them, use answers in probing to do so)
Assumptive close (get the application started and always assume Theyr interested)

There are obviously some major differences between a first date and selling a credit card but having the call flow makes it a hell of a lot easier to sell a credit card and I assume some type of first date flow would make a first date easier to be successful

Any pros wanna try and create a first date flow that are sort of loose guidelines to follow?
BTW I have a first date in 12 hours so it would be nice to see responses before then if possible

in my eyes i can kind of see mystery's method a type of "call flow" as you call it...There are plenty of more steps to this, but like you said the general outline is what your after...

these are just scratching the surface...in his book or even if you google, you can find more info for each one of these more in depth..

From there, you can apply 1-3 main ideas you grasped from each concept and have it in your head when you go on the date.

my outline is in the process and am tweaking constantly to what type of girl it is, but for the most it part it goes like this:

opener
false time constraint
neg
story - comfort building, builds interest
isolation
kino escalation
attraction build (the cube works great)
another story, ask her her views on life, what she does, get to know her
more kino every now and then
kiss close..

remember, everyone has their own method, so research and find out what works best for you
