This is a great trick, dont need tables so you can perform standing, dont need to talk alot or if you want you can talk as much as you want.
http://www.livevideo.com/video/F9977E84 ... bvesv.aspx

I hope this wasnt already posted somewhere else, I also have two other tutorials in the works so if you guys like this ill upload the others soon.
I also made sure that this video is hard to find so normal people wont find it, so dont spread this to people outside of PUA forum please

Explanation:
Ok so Ive decided to add a text explination of this trick Ill try to lay it out so it well be easy to learn

Preparation:
Simple just look at the top card, this will be the card the spectator will end up with.

The trick:
*This is just bare bones with no patter*
step 1: Start by cutting the deck* and hold a pinkie break** where you cut. The type of cut doesnt matter as long as you end with a pinkie break where the old top card is.
step 2: with your thumb riffle down the side of the deck. While riffling tell the spectator to say stop when they want you to stop.
*tip: try to make them stop some where around where your pinkie break is, because if they stop you at teh first 15 cards, and your pinkie break is 25 cards down that will look suspicious.*
Step 3: lift the cards from the pinkie break, not where they told you to stop.
Step 4: you should now have half of the deck in your left hand and half in your right from taking off the top sections where the pinkie break was. now deal them the card that you looked at before.
Step 5: the trick is now done, just make sure you dont see the card, and predict it however you want.

*when you cut the deck or just hold the deck if you are right handed hold it the deck in your left, and vise versa for left handers.

** a pinkie break is where you hold a tiny gap in the cards, think of it kinda as a book mark, its a spot in the cards where you can get back to.

Haha, I do quite a bit of magic, so hopefully you won't mind constructive criticism ;)

IMO, if you want to improve the trick - Don't talk about stacks, or fake decks for that matter, it all just raises suspicion. if you can pass, pass the top card into position instead of cutting. Also, a pinkie break should be tiny, and angleproof. Your finger dosen't go in the break, its the fleshy pad of your pinkie which is pushed against the break that holds it in position.

As far as card tricks for girls go, I would never do any except Paul Curry's out of this world - and I would only do that if she was over at mine. That routine is chick-crack. Tricks for PUA for me are limited to direct mentalism with a boon, and maybe a psychological force or two. But this is just me, if this works for you, go for it. I'm in England, so regional differences too... haha

Sorry if this sounded a bit too negative, its supposed to be positive :D Great post, and thanks for sharing :D

No dont worry, anyways sorry if It sounded like talking about stalks was part of the routine, that would sound very suspicious. as for the pinkie break and pass I just wanted to keep it quick and simple, I dont want to do any more difficult sleight of hand, or worry too much about the break, because i wanted to let someone learn the trick in a few min, because not everyone here does magic, so this way anyone can do it.

thanks for the post though, I havent really done magic in clubs bars etc yet cause Im not 18, so I may be wrong on this being a good trick for them.

I cant do it, keep in mind not everyone does magic, you spoke to fast and I had to replay the video 3 times and I still cant do it.
Thanks for sharing the video, hopefully im the only one whos clueless on this.
I do see value in learning this trick, at college we play cards in between classes so its good for when theres a girl near our table.

thanks for the input, I tried to keep it simple, but I can speak to fast sometimes, and I never tried to teach over a video before. If you want just PM me and ill teach you one on one.

Ill have to look at it when i get back. However i have found that card tricks are situational. I use some magic tricks (illusions) and some cold reading in my routines.

21 card esp (for lack of a better name) is awsome, but wouldnt make sence if your not around a deck. I usually do like quarter/cigarette tricks, throw in an esp and a cold reading, then some DHV stories unrelated.

Card tricks can be handy though, for instance my friend often times has people over and we all play cards. Next time we do ill have some tricks to spice it up, set the frame up, and run with it.

Thanks for the post, im on my way out but ill check on it.

I LOVE DERREN!
But me and my other friend were discussing mentalism, and alot of the time ww find derren brown slow build up style can back fire with younger people like my age 17-18 and drunk people, cause paying attention is hard.

But I am so happy to hear this trick is useful for you guys, I'll deff make more tutorials when i get the time.
