when i was getting back out there after a 3 year relationship.. i had no idea how to hold a conversation or how to approach a new beautiful girl. after while.. i decided i needed to learn how to talk to people again. so i thought about it, and came up with a routine that had worked for me.

Getting in the "zone"
test the waters bro. see what you're capable of. approach a girl YOU KNOW you can get. she may be a 6,7 or even lower. someone you know wont intimidate you, someone you know you wont freeze up on in the middle of conversation. these girls typically have more personality than the gorgeous ones. they dont have the looks, so like many of you, they had to adapt and create a way for men to find them attractive. these girls will teach you how to hold a conversation, how to be funny again, you wont be afraid to neg them, and chances are, you probably wont even follow up with a compliment. do this all night. learn all types of personas. i'm not saying to sleep with these girls, or even pull thier number (unless she puts off that "i can suck a golf ball through a garden hose" look. then, whatever, it's just sex.) next time you're out, step it up. go for the prettier girls, but dont try for the sexiest, just yet. hell, they may notice you all over the bar talkin to everyone and that, my friend, is intrigueing. if you're lucky, she'll think "why isnt he talking to me?" and she'll open for you. dont count on it, i'm just putting the best case scenario out there. keep doing this method til you're amazingly comfortable to talk to anyone. it might take a long time.. but it worked for me.. it could work for you. and, i apologize if someone else has already suggested this method.. i didnt see one, but i bet it's out there.. so if i stepped on any toes, my bad!
