Heavily sarged venues and desirable women are becoming saturated by it and I have been called out on it while DHV-ing three times now.
[* YOU DON'T HAVE TO READ THIS PART *]
I will never let The Cube go - it is such a great connection builder and it provides so many interesting results. Just yesterday I had the pleasure of speaking to a girl who told me that her cube looked like a half-solved rubiks cube. Any of you who are in any way experienced with the cube and cold reading can imagine how much fun I was able to have with that.
So, knowing that I would never want to let the cube go entirely I got to thinking about what the best way might be to counter the unlikely (but unfortunate event and damaging) event of being called out on using canned material. The best I could come up with was this:
[* START READING AGAIN HERE!!*]
It is a combined DHV/Gambit which can turn being caught out into a positive situation.
NEW INTRO THE CUBE:
PUA: You seem interesting. Alright you have convinced that I want to get to know you (she has qualified). This might sound a little odd by this close friend of mine, who is a swimsuit model (demonstrating pre-selection and comfort around women) told me about this thing called a cube - have you heard of it? Well it is really pretty cool so here goes....
If she says no proceed as normal.
If she says "some guy has used this on me before" or "so your a pickup artist" play dumb and respond with this:
PUA: What do you mean?
HB: Some guy told me this before and I think he was a player or soemthign it was like his "smooth move."
PUA: Wow, maybe my friend Stephanie was trying to hook up with me what do you think (creates common ground, demonstrates pre-selection, frames you as an object of desire)?
HB:OMG maybe etc etc etc.
From here you go on to build comfort and rapport by asking her advice on how to be nice about letting your friend (who is a lingere model remember) down gently and how its cool that she was able to warn you.
I have used this in the field once with solid results (number closed and was presented with an opportunity to day-2).
Just thought I would share this - I would love to hear anyones opinons/comments/criticisms. _________________ Regards,

The game is easy to start, the referee blows the whistle. It's where you go from there that matters.

I change around the cube to make it personalized. ie you can call it the box, etc etc
